According to Odaily Planet Daily, U.S. stock index futures rose slightly before the market opened on Tuesday, with technology and cryptocurrency companies recovering some of the losses from the previous day. S&P 500 futures rose 0.2%, Nasdaq futures rose 0.3%, and Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were flat.
Shares of Coinbase Global and Robinhood Markets recovered some of Monday's losses as Bitcoin stabilized overnight. Coinbase shares rose 1.5% in pre-market trading, while Robinhood shares gained nearly 1%. The previous day, both companies' shares fell more than 4% after Bitcoin dropped below $85,000.
Bitcoin rose slightly to around $87,320.22 in early trading on Tuesday, but remains well below its early October peak of $126,000. Software and database platform company MongoDB rose more than 23% after exceeding Wall Street's third-quarter sales and profit targets.
In global bond markets, long-term U.S. Treasury yields rose after the Bank of Japan governor hinted at a possible interest rate hike this month, dragging up global yields. This outlook has raised concerns about volatility in global bond and stock markets. (Washington Post)
