The Balancer community has proposed a plan to allocate funds recovered from the hacking incident.

Odaily Planet Daily reports that two members of the Balancer protocol community submitted a proposal on Thursday outlining a distribution plan for some of the funds recovered from the $116 million attack that occurred on the protocol in November. Of the $116 million theft, approximately $28 million has already been recovered by white-hat hackers, insider rescuers, and the Ethereum liquidity staking platform StakeWise.

However, the proposal only covers the $8 million recovered by white-hat hackers and an internal rescue team; the nearly $20 million recovered by StakeWise will be distributed separately to its users. (Cointelegraph)
