According to Odaily Planet Daily, a user of a cryptocurrency airdrop lost over $112,000 worth of MON airdrop tokens after submitting a series of failed transactions on the blockchain. All of these funds were spent on gas fees from the failed transactions. Analysis revealed that the wallet owner may have used a script to send a large number of transactions in a short period without realizing that the first few failed, leading to all subsequent failures and the burning of gas.
