Amazon Web Services (AWS) will invest up to $50 billion to build and deploy the first customized infrastructure specifically for artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) for the U.S. government. The new investment will add nearly 1.3 gigawatts of compute capacity across all confidentiality levels in AWS Top Secret, AWS Secret, and AWS GovCloud (US) regions.
