Odaily Planet Daily reports that Dunamu, the parent company of South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit, and fintech company Naver Financial are proposing a merger to form an entity valued at approximately $13.8 billion (200 trillion won) through a stock swap. The merger aims to combine Dunamu's virtual asset business with Naver's payment and financial infrastructure, and is widely seen as a potential pathway to a future US IPO. (Decrypt)
