Odaily Planet Daily reports that Mike Alfred, founder of Alpine Fox LP, posted, "Institutions are sparing no effort to manipulate derivatives such as perpetual contracts and futures in an attempt to depress the price of Bitcoin and scare investors into selling. This is one of the biggest scams in the market." BitMine Chairman Tom Lee retweeted and expressed his agreement.
