Odaily Planet Daily reports that Doppel, an AI-driven social engineering defense platform, announced on the X platform that it has completed a $70 million Series C funding round. The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from George Kurtz, NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Aurum Partners, Nneka Ogwumike, Breanna Stewart, Kelsey Plum, a16z, South Park Commons, Script Capital, 9Yards Capital, Sozo Ventures, and Strategic Cyber Ventures. The new funding will be used to support the construction of a digital protection infrastructure that combines generative AI with expert human analysis.
