2025-11-19 12:55

Odaily Planet Daily reports that days after Kenya implemented its first comprehensive cryptocurrency law, ATMs branded "Bankless Bitcoin" have appeared in several large shopping malls in Nairobi, offering local residents the service of exchanging cash for cryptocurrency.

Previously, it was reported that Kenya implemented the Virtual Asset Service Providers Act 2025 on November 4th, marking the country's first formal licensing framework for cryptocurrency platforms such as wallet operators, exchanges, and custodians. (Cointelegraph)
