OpenAI: GPT-5.1 will be available this Friday.

According to Odaily Planet Daily, OpenAI officially announced on the X platform that ChatGPT version GPT-5.1 will be available to all users this week. It is smarter, more reliable, and more conversational. In short, GPT5.1 performs better in the following aspects;

- Follow custom instructions

- Use reasoning skills to make more accurate answers

Overall, their conversational skills are also stronger.

GPT-5 will remain available to paid users for another three months; the phase-out of GPT-5 will not affect the availability of other older models. OpenAI will also soon update GPT-5 Pro to GPT-5.1 Pro.
