Bank of England: Proposes a £20,000 cap on individual stablecoin holdings.

Odaily Planet Daily reports that the Bank of England has proposed that 60% of assets backing stablecoins could be held in short-term UK government bonds, with at least 40% required to be held by the Bank of England. The Bank of England has also proposed a £20,000 cap on stablecoin holdings for individuals and a £10 million cap for businesses. (Jinshi)
