Cathie Wood invests $12 million to buy shares in the cryptocurrency trading platform Bullish.

According to a transaction disclosure by Ark Invest on November 3, Cathie Wood, founder of Ark Invest's funds, purchased shares of cryptocurrency trading platform operator Bullish Holdings (NYSE:BLSH) through three ETFs, totaling over $12 million. The purchases included: 164,214 shares in the flagship ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK), 49,056 shares in the Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW), and 25,076 shares in the Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF).

Bullish, backed by PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel, is a hybrid crypto trading platform targeting institutional investors and the parent company of CoinDesk. The stock closed at $50.26 on November 3rd, and traded at $49.15 in after-hours trading, giving it a market capitalization of approximately $7.35 billion, near its year-to-date lows.
