According to a report by Bitcoin News on the X platform, Odaily reports that Canaan Inc. has announced a 4.5MW contract in Japan to deploy its Avalon water-cooled Bitcoin mining machines for real-time grid balancing and energy optimization.

Led by a large regional utility company, the facility will use Canaan Technology’s smart control chips to dynamically adjust voltage, frequency, and computing power to help stabilize the power grid and improve efficiency. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
