According to BlockSec Phalcon, an attack on the Base chain was detected several hours ago, targeting an unknown contract and resulting in a loss of approximately $219,000 (55 WETH). The root cause was improper access control, which allowed arbitrary transferFrom calls, leading to the theft of the victim's authorized assets. BlockSec Phalcon advises users to immediately revoke any authorization to address 0xE143b486ab0413Df0D6DAd2caf6d2f61CAC54730 and to avoid granting new authorizations to that contract.
