Bitcoin Core developers: BIP 444 has a high probability of success.

According to Odaily Planet Daily, Luke Dashjr, a Bitcoin Core developer known for his anti-inscription stance, believes that BIP 444 has a very high probability of success. While there might be some initial chaos, he states that opponents would need to perform a reverse fork and split the chain to reject it, and it's unlikely many people would do something so crazy. Furthermore, Dashjr says that talk of freezing someone's BTC is simply FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) regarding BIP 444, and there's no reason to believe that real coins will be affected. Mempool developer mononaut, however, disagrees, citing examples of real coins being frozen by BIP 444, such as simple financial use cases using Tapscript's OP_IF.
