OpenAI and Microsoft sign new $250 billion deal

According to Odaily Planet Daily, Microsoft and OpenAI have signed a new agreement. OpenAI has signed a contract to purchase an additional $250 billion in Azure services, and Microsoft will no longer have the right of first refusal to become OpenAI's computing power provider. OpenAI can now jointly develop products with third parties. API products developed in collaboration with third parties will remain exclusive to Azure, while non-API products can be deployed on any cloud platform. Microsoft supports the OpenAI board's establishment of a public benefit corporation, and Microsoft holds an investment interest in the OpenAI Group public benefit corporation valued at approximately $135 billion.
