According to Odaily Planet Daily, Citibank and Coinbase have partnered to explore providing two-way conversion and cross-border settlement between crypto assets and fiat currencies for their institutional clients, and plan to promote on-chain stablecoin payment solutions in the coming months. Citibank stated that client needs focus on "programmability, conditional payments, 24/7 speed, and cost efficiency." Coinbase stated that it provides infrastructure to over 250 financial institutions worldwide, with services covering spot and derivatives trading, custody, staking, and payments.
