Odaily Planet Daily reported that according to Globenewswire, AI infrastructure company Crusoe announced the completion of the initial fundraising of US$1.375 billion in Series E financing. Valor Equity Partners and Mubadala Capital co-led the investment, and 137 Ventures, 1789 Capital, Activate Capital, Altimeter Capital, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Founders Fund, Franklin Templeton and others participated in the investment. The new funds will be used for the construction of its data centers.
According to previous news, Crusoe was involved in Bitcoin mining and received investments from many companies in the crypto industry, but sold its Bitcoin mining business to NYDIG in March this year.
