QCP Asia: Markets await Friday's CPI data, while the US government shutdown stabilizes macroeconomic sentiment

Odaily Planet Daily News: QCP Asia stated in its market report on October 22 that due to the US government shutdown, the release of most official data has been frozen. This week's market focus is entirely on Friday's CPI data, which is the only economic indicator that the Federal Reserve can refer to before making a statement on restarting policy.
The report pointed out that if the CPI only rises by 0.2% month-on-month, it will help re-reinforce expectations of a "soft landing" and support Bitcoin's upward trend. At the same time, gold prices recorded their largest single-day drop since 2020 due to the strengthening of the US dollar, while Bitcoin briefly touched $114,000 before falling back.
