Odaily Planet Daily reported that crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett wrote on the X platform that several crypto company executives are expected to hold a roundtable meeting with Senate Democrats who support cryptocurrencies on Wednesday to discuss market structure legislation and future development directions.

Attendees included Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, Chainlink CEO Sergey Nazarov, Galaxy CEO Mike Novogratz, Kraken CEO David Ripley, Uniswap CEO Hayden Adams, Solana Policy Institute President K. Michelle Smith, Circle CSO Dante Disparte, Ripple CLO Stuart Alderoty, Jito CLO Rebecca Rettig, and a16z crypto general counsel Miles Jennings.

The meeting was chaired by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. Previously, a leaked DeFi regulatory proposal from the Democratic Party sparked strong opposition from the industry, leading to a deadlock in negotiations with Republicans.
