Jay Chou has deleted his social media posts about looking for friends to invest in Bitcoin
2025-10-19 05:15

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Jay Chou posted an angry message on his personal Instagram on October 15th, searching for his magician friend Cai Weize and threatening, "If you don't show up, you're done." Cai Weize later responded, stating he would be "temporarily taking a break from social media." Taiwanese media outlets have revealed that the two are suspected of being involved in a financial dispute involving over NT$100 million. Cai Weize had held an account for him to invest in Bitcoin, but claimed the account was locked a year ago and has yet to return the funds. Jay Chou's private messages to Cai Weize went unanswered, forcing him to resort to this desperate measure. However, community users discovered that Jay Chou's Instagram account had deleted the relevant content and that he had unfollowed Cai Weize.
