According to Coingecko analysis, Hyperliquid has set a record for the largest token buyback so far this year, with a total expenditure of more than $644.64 million. In total, at least 21.36 million HYPE tokens were repurchased, accounting for 2.1% of the total supply.

HYPE token repurchases averaged $65.5 million per month, with a low of $39.14 million in March and a high of $110.62 million in August. To date, the average repurchase price of HYPE tokens has been approximately $30.18.
