Ethereum has attracted over 16,000 new developers to join its ecosystem in the first three quarters of this year
2025-10-17 03:51

According to data from Electric Capital cited by the Ethereum Foundation, more than 16,000 new developers joined the Ethereum ecosystem between January and September this year.

Solana was the second most popular destination for new developers, with over 11,500 joining the ecosystem; however, a representative from the Solana Foundation said these figures may be outdated. Meanwhile, Bitcoin added nearly 7,500 new developers.

The Ethereum ecosystem has the largest active developer community of any blockchain project, with 31,869 developers. Solana, by comparison, has 17,708 developers, coming in second, while Bitcoin has 11,036. (Cointelegraph)
