BlackRock announced the official launch of the BlackRock Select Treasury Based Liquidity Fund (BSTBL), a GENIUS Act-compliant money market fund. The fund will be able to serve as a reserve asset for payment stablecoin issuers. Planned investment strategies include including overnight repurchase agreements as eligible assets and shortening the investment duration of U.S. Treasury instruments.
