According to Odaily Planet Daily, Cloudflare announced a partnership with Visa, Mastercard, and American Express to establish an "agentic commerce" certification standard. Cloudflare and Visa developed the Trusted Agent Protocol, based on its Web Bot Auth to verify AI shopping agents; Mastercard and American Express will use similar integrations to verify "trusted agents" within their respective AI frameworks. This initiative extends to machine-to-machine payment infrastructure. Cloudflare previously announced the NET Dollar stablecoin plan and launched the x402 Foundation standardized agent payment protocol with Coinbase. The first batch of partners also include Adyen, Checkout.com, Circle, Fiserv, Microsoft, Nuvei, Shopify, Webflow, and Worldpay. ( The Block )
