SBF published an article claiming political persecution by the Biden administration
2025-10-15 03:34

Odaily Planet Daily reported that FTX founder SBF posted on the social platform GETTER that he was politically persecuted by the Biden administration.

He stated that he remained center-left in 2020, but after witnessing Gensler and the Biden administration's actions regarding the cryptocurrency industry, he shifted to the center in 2022 and "privately donated tens of millions of dollars to the Republican Party." Shortly thereafter, the SEC and the Department of Justice began investigating and prosecuting him. He was arrested the night before a vote on a crypto bill he was promoting and before he was scheduled to testify before Congress.

He cited House Republicans as saying the arrest was intended to prevent him from testifying, and that Congress had asked SEC Chairman Gensler to submit relevant internal communications, but he "ultimately lost them."

According to SBF's tweet, the above remarks were posted on his behalf by a friend who had access to his account.
