According to Odaily Planet Daily, UXLINK announced on the X platform that it will migrate the UXLINK token contract to a new contract on the Ethereum mainnet. The exchange ratio will be 1:1, and the token economics and maximum supply of 1 billion tokens will remain unchanged. The new contract address is 0x3991B07b2951a4300Da8c76e7d2c7eddE861Fef3.
The migration plan is divided into two parts: centralized exchanges (CEX) and on-chain users.
For CEX users, UXLINK will work with CEX to distribute new tokens to CEX after deducting the tokens deposited by the suspected hacker address. CEX will handle the hacker's frozen assets according to legal procedures, and UXLINK will provide 1:1 compensation to affected legitimate users.
For on-chain users, a snapshot will be taken at the time the hacker first transferred their assets. Normal holders prior to this time will be eligible for a 1:1 exchange. Officials will develop an on-chain exchange tool for users to use.
The first batch of CEX exchanges is expected to be completed within 1-5 business days, and the on-chain exchange tool will be developed and launched within 5 business days. In addition, UXLINK is recovering the stolen assets and will provide compensation to the community (including CEX users) through a buyback program, staking rewards, and other compensation plans.
