Odaily Planet Daily reports that Brian Quintenz, Trump's nominee for CFTC Chairman and head of global policy at a16z, publicly released screenshots of a Signal chat with Gemini founders Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss on social media on September 11th, claiming that his nomination was being blocked by the two due to his refusal to commit to promoting cultural reform at the CFTC. The screenshots show the Winklevoss brothers demanding that "correcting what happened to Gemini" be a top priority and threatening to contact Trump directly. Subsequently, the White House demanded that the Senate withdraw its confirmation vote on Quintenz. (Decrypt)
