A South Korean court ordered Wemade to pay approximately $7.14 million in outstanding debts to former employees.
4hours ago

According to Odaily Planet Daily, the Seoul Central District Court in South Korea has partially sided with the plaintiffs in a lawsuit filed by current and former Wemade employees against the company. The court ordered Wemade to pay them a total of 9.93928 billion won (approximately US$7.14 million). In July of last year, 27 current and former Wemade executives and employees filed a lawsuit against the company, demanding 16.17648 billion won in compensation. A former employee of Wemade Tree, a subsidiary of Wemade, said the company had promised to pay but failed to do so, so he filed the lawsuit. (Nwes 1)
