Wyoming launches Frontier stablecoin FRNT, becoming the first US state to issue a stablecoin

Odaily Planet Daily reports that crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett has published an article stating that Wyoming has launched Frontier (FRNT), a stablecoin backed by the US dollar and short-term Treasury bonds, becoming the first US state to do so. FRNT is currently listed on seven blockchains: Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Polygon, Optimism, and Base. Due to regulatory restrictions, the token is not yet available to the public. The executive director of the Wyoming Stable Coin Committee stated that detailed discussions on the matter will be held later today.
