Polymarket updates oracle contracts: a whitelist mechanism will be introduced to limit the eligibility of dispute proposals

Odaily Planet Daily News: According to official documents of Polymarket, the platform has recently introduced a new oracle contract ManagedOptimisticOracleV 2 (MOOV 2) through UMA's UMIP-189 governance proposal.

The main changes to the new oracle contract include: limiting the qualifications of dispute proposers through a whitelist maintained by Polymarket and Risk Labs (UMA team); allowing Polymarket to manage dispute proposal deposits more flexibly; and simplifying the Polymarket resolution process parameter update operation.
