Dragonfly Partner: The U.S. Department of Justice has clarified that it will not bring charges against Dragonfly and its employees
10hours ago

Odaily Planet Daily reported that in response to the news that "the U.S. Department of Justice is considering filing charges against Dragonfly employees in the TornadoCash case", Dragonfly partner Haseeb once again posted a message and posted the court record, saying: "The court record on Monday showed that the U.S. Department of Justice has clarified that media reports that they plan to file a lawsuit against Dragonfly are inaccurate, and Dragonfly and any of its main executives are not the subjects of their investigation... As an investor, Dragonfly may face prosecution simply for supporting an open source privacy technology. This is not only unprecedented, but also a clear violation of the Department of Justice's policy."

The image of the court transcript posted by Haseeb shows: "There have been inaccurate and misleading public media reports regarding the government's position on Dragonfly and certain of its executives since the last meeting. The government wishes to clearly place on record that it has not targeted Dragonfly or any of its directors, executives, employees, or controlling shareholders."

According to previous news, there were rumors in the market that "the US Department of Justice is considering bringing charges against Dragonfly employees in the TornadoCash case." Haseeb has previously responded that "he will defend himself with all his strength and insist that the investment is legal and reasonable."
