Nasdaq-listed GameSquare acquires Compound founder's CryptoPunk #5577 for $5.15 million in preferred shares

Odaily News Nasdaq-listed GameSquare Holdings (NASDAQ: GAME) announced that it has acquired CryptoPunk #5577 held by Robert Leshner, the founder of DeFi protocol Compound, for $5.15 million in preferred shares. It is reported that this is GameSquare's first direct investment in NFT.
GameSquare currently holds approximately 12,913.49 ETH, with a total Ethereum asset value of approximately $52 million. (Chainwire)
