Vitalik: Institutions choose Ethereum not because of its speed, but because of its "stability, reliability, and no downtime"

He pointed out that "many institutions have clearly told us that they choose Ethereum because it is stable, reliable, and will not go down," and emphasized that long-term features such as privacy are the features that institutions "really value."
Vitalik also said on the main stage of the conference: "We don't just want to succeed, we want to be a network worthy of success." He hopes that in the future people will regard Ethereum as a model of a network that truly achieves open, free and permissionless access.
