Kraken receives MiCA license from the Central Bank of Ireland, enabling compliance services to cover the entire EU

Odaily News Crypto exchange Kraken announced that it has obtained the MiCA license issued by the Central Bank of Ireland, and will be able to provide compliant crypto services in all 30 EU member states in the future.
This is another important progress in Kraken's compliance process in Europe, following its acquisition of the Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license in 2023 and the MiFID license in February 2025. Kraken's co-CEO said the license will accelerate the company's business expansion in the EU market. (Cointelegraph)
