Coinbase asks to move Oregon securities lawsuit to federal court

The exchange said that this is a "replica" of the SEC's 2023 lawsuit and should be heard by the federal court. Oregon accused Coinbase of selling unregistered securities to residents, but Coinbase believed that this move exceeded the state government's authority and violated the scope of federal law.
