Trump economic adviser reveals he owns at least $1 million in Coinbase shares

Odaily News According to Bloomberg, Kevin Hassett, one of US President Donald Trump's key economic advisers, disclosed that he holds at least $1 million worth of shares in the US cryptocurrency trading platform Coinbase as a consultant, according to a financial disclosure document.
The Coinbase shares were listed as “vested shares,” according to the filing. Based on the broad valuation ranges used by officials in their filings, Hassett reported total assets of at least $7.6 million.
Note: Vested stock refers to stock or stock options that an employee or consultant already fully owns under an employment agreement or incentive plan. Once vested, the holder can freely exercise, sell or transfer these shares.
