Arthur Hayes: ETH may rise to $5,000 by the end of the year, setting a new record high

Odaily News BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes believes Ethereum could rise to $5,000 by the end of the year, nearly doubling in price and on track to hit a new all-time high, even though the asset has lagged behind other competing projects such as Bitcoin and Solana in recent performance.
“I think ETH could go to $4,000 to $5,000 this year,” Arthur Hayes told Decrypt at the Bitcoin 2025 conference in Las Vegas. “I think it’s the most hated L1 blockchain right now, and usually when the market cycle turns, you hold the most hated asset, so I think ETH may outperform.”
Arthur Hayes' latest forecast also continues his bullish stance on Bitcoin. Earlier this month, he said that the price of Bitcoin could rise to $1 million by 2028.
