Aethir launches Checker node repurchase program and launches eATH token to support ecosystem expansion

Odaily News According to official news, Aethir has officially launched the Checker node repurchase program, allowing node holders to sell their NFT licenses to the Aethir Foundation in exchange for eATH (EigenATH) tokens. The program aims to strengthen the Aethir ecosystem by guiding new computing clusters to join Aethir's decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) stack. The repurchase price of the Checker node will float according to market conditions and the repurchase rate, and early participants will receive additional rewards.
The eATH token has a one-year lockup period, but will continue to earn ATH rewards during this period, with a redemption period of 30 days after June 13, 2026. eATH will be used to support Aethir's decentralized cloud computing infrastructure, especially to bootstrap new GPU cloud hosts through EigenLayer's AVS model. Users holding eATH can receive rewards linked to the performance of Aethir's decentralized GPU cloud market. In addition, eATH holders will be eligible for special rewards from Aethir's future airdrops (Season 2 and Season 3) and may receive instant liquidity through Pendle.
