Kyodo News: Japan will spend 900 billion yen to cope with US tariffs

Odaily News The Japanese government plans to use 900 billion yen (about $6.3 billion) of state funds for an emergency rescue plan to cushion the blow from U.S. tariffs, Kyodo News reported. To finance the package, which includes lower utility costs and financial aid to small businesses, the government plans to use budget reserves (to be decided as early as Tuesday) and the existing budget, Kyodo News reported.
