The ETF Store President Recalls the First Anniversary of Ethereum Spot ETF Approval: SEC “Had No Choice” at the Time

Odaily News Nate Geraci, president of The ETF Store, published an article reviewing the SEC's unexpected decision to approve the Ethereum spot ETF on May 23, 2024, saying that he still sticks to his original view - after Grayscale lost the lawsuit, the SEC "had no choice at all."
He said he hopes to see more insider details disclosed in the future, and lamented that "the regulatory environment has changed incredibly dramatically over the past year." However, he also pointed out that as of now, no other spot crypto ETFs other than Bitcoin and Ethereum have been approved.
