Jen-Hsun Huang: Plans to open source the world's most advanced physics engine Newton in July

Odaily News Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said that it is "impractical" to build robots in the physical world, and we must train them in a virtual world that follows the laws of physics. We have collaborated with DeepMind and Disney Research to develop the world's most advanced physics engine, Newton, which is scheduled to be open source in July. Newton fully supports GPU acceleration, is highly differentiable and capable of super real-time operation, and can effectively learn through experience. We are integrating this physics engine into Nvidia's ISAAC simulator, and this integration allows us to make these robots "alive" in a real way. (Jinshi)
