2025-05-18 00:29

Odaily News According to local media reports, the Kiev-Pechersk District Court of Ukraine has ruled to transfer crypto assets seized in an investigation into major fraud and illegal gambling to the National Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA). The assets involved were stored in a wallet registered on the Binance platform and belonged to Ukrainian citizens, who were suspected of money laundering operations through channels such as the unlicensed platform rollbit.com.
The court ruling showed that the total amount of assets involved in the case exceeded 500 million hryvnias (about 13 million US dollars), covering a variety of cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, LTC, SOL, USDT, etc., distributed in multiple sub-accounts associated with the Binance main user ID. The court also required Nest Services Limited (a Binance-related entity) registered in Seychelles to cooperate in completing the asset transfer and cooperate with Ukrainian regulators. ARMA stated that it would sell the relevant assets through the national electronic auction platform and return their value to the national budget. (crowdfundinsider)
