Metaplanet releases Q1 financial report: Thanks to Bitcoin reserve strategy, the company's quarterly performance is the best in history

Odaily News Metaplanet, a Japanese listed company, released its Q1 financial report this morning. The report pointed out that Metaplanet achieved the best performance in the company's history this quarter, with revenue reaching US$6.139 million, an increase of 8% from the previous quarter and a surge of 943% year-on-year, and profit reaching US$4.151 million, an increase of 11% from the previous quarter, of which 88% of the revenue came from Bitcoin option sales.
In addition, the company currently holds a total of 6,796 bitcoins, with the goal of reaching a reserve of 10,000 bitcoins by the end of the year.
