Bitrue hacker exchanged stolen assets for about 1,167 ETH again after a year

Odaily News According to on-chain analyst Ember, the hacker who stole $23 million worth of assets from Bitrue in April 2023 sold the stolen assets on the chain again a year later:
Sell 150 billion SHIB in exchange for 1090.4 ETH (US$1.97 million);
Sold 135 million HOT in exchange for 76.5 ETH (US$140,000).
In April 2023, hackers stole assets such as ETH/QNT/GALA/SHIB/HOT/MATIC from Bitrue, which were worth US$23 million at the time, and then exchanged most of the assets for ETH on the chain; in March 2024, 4,207 ETH were sold in exchange for 1634.5 DAI at a selling price of US$3,885; today, the SHIB and HOT that had not been sold before were sold on the chain in exchange for ETH.
