Metaplanet: The 2 billion yen ninth ordinary bond previously issued has been redeemed early and repaid in full

Odaily News Metaplanet announced that the previously issued 2 billion yen (US$13.5 million) ninth ordinary bond was redeemed early and repaid in full on April 4, the company reportedly disclosed on April 7. These zero-coupon bonds were issued through Metaplanet's Evo Fund in March to acquire additional Bitcoin (BTC, priced at US$78,509). The company said that since these bonds are zero-coupon bonds, the repayment will not have a significant impact on the company's performance in fiscal 2025. (Cointelegraph)
