411 South Korean officials declared virtual assets with a total value of over US$9.8 million

Odaily News According to the Korean Cultural Daily, the report on property changes of public officials released by the Korean government's Public Servants Ethics Committee shows that 411 of the 2,047 applicants (20.1%) hold virtual assets, totaling 14.4 billion won (about 9.82 million U.S. dollars), about 35.07 million won per person. Among them, Seoul City Councilor Kim Hye-young ranked first with a declared amount of 1.7 billion won, holding 16 cryptocurrencies including BTC, ETH, DOGE, and XRP.
