Odaily News According to reporter @EleanorTerrett, the U.S. Senate passed the Congressional Review Act (CRA) for the second time with an overwhelming vote of 70-28, aiming to repeal the "broker" reporting rules set by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for DeFi platforms. The resolution has now been submitted to President Trump for signature. If it eventually takes effect, DeFi protocols will be exempted from the same user information reporting obligations as traditional brokers.
