Odaily News Polymarket announced on its official Discord that it has identified a situation regarding the "Ukrainian rare earth market" forecast event. The resolution of this market violated the expectations of Polymarket users. Polymarket stated that since this is not a market failure, no refunds will be given.
At the same time, after consultation, the Polymarket and UMA teams will establish systems and monitoring to ensure that this situation does not happen again.
According to previous community news, a user hijacked the oracle UMA to tamper with the results of the "Ukrainian Rare Earth Market" prediction event on Polymarket.
