Odaily News According to Yonhap News Agency, Kim Seok-hwan, representative of Wemix Foundation, a blockchain subsidiary of Wemade, admitted at an emergency meeting that he had lost about 8.65 million WEMIX tokens (worth about $6.22 million) due to a hacker attack.
Hackers attacked the Play Bridge Vault system by stealing the authentication key of the NFT platform "Nile" on February 28. Jin Xihuan explained that the delayed notification was due to concerns about triggering more attacks and market panic, emphasizing that "there was absolutely no thought or attempt to cover up the incident."
