Odaily News Yu Hu, founder of Kaito AI, posted on the X platform that nothing related to KAITO was compromised. Both my X account and Kaito account were hacked - the hacker then posted fake tweets. Once I realized this, I checked the accounts and found that I was still logged into both accounts, so I deleted the tweets and changed my passwords.
We have advanced security measures in place on both accounts, including hardware 2FA, so it looks like we may be facing similar attacks as we have seen recently on other projects like Jupiter. We are speaking with people familiar with such attacks to understand how this could have happened. Any help from professionals is welcome.
